That's why we launched Foodizen, a regular feature from The Citizen that delves into the nexus of food and culture in cities as a way to tell us about the people, experiences, tastes and history of Philadelphia.

On Tuesday, June 25, The Citizen will be hosting a special Foodizen dinner event at Vientiane Cafe—which food columnist Jason Wilson wrote about here—with a special menu highlighting traditional Lao cooking and personally curated wine and beer pairings by Jason Wilson.
